UNION Kansas City Wedding Venue

Kelly and Matt celebrated their fall wedding at UNION - a gorgeous Kansas City Wedding Venue located in the heart of the historic crossroads district. The venue is stunning, with exposed brick and beautiful hardwood flooring. There are three levels to the venue, making the transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception completely seamless. The bottom floor is a great spot for groomsmen to get ready, and the top floor includes a spacious bridal suite. The space also takes in a ton of natural light, and there’s a rooftop available for portraits with an unmatched view of the Kansas City Skyline.

Kelly and Matt’s floral arrangements were created by Good Earth Floral, located in Lenexa. Ashley, the owner of Good Earth, is so talented and I always love working on the same team for our couples when we have the chance to! Kelly and Matt’s ceremony backdrop featured this colorful arrangement of roses and greenery, and the floral design brought so much depth and softness to the industrial details of UNION’s space.

Champagne on the Rooftop

In between the ceremony and reception, Kelly and Matt hopped onto a party bus with their friends and we hit some local landmarks for bridal party photos. When we returned to the venue, we went straight up to the rooftop where the two of them popped a bottle of champagne and took in the most beautiful sunset. I love the skyline view from UNION’s roof. Later during the reception, we went back up to the roof with their bridal party to do some photos with sparklers and enjoy the view.
