Annie and David held their large Kansas City wedding at Cherry Hall. They brought together so many loved ones from all around the country to celebrate. I loved seeing the reunion of so many educators that met while working together in various cities across the US. These two are incredibly loved and it showed.

I love the colorful details that this space has, which sets it apart from other venues in Kansas City. The ballroom has amazing natural light from the garage doors that face the courtyard. I look forward to working here again next season!

Getting Ready for Your Wedding at Home

There is something so special about when you get ready for your wedding at your childhood home. Maybe it’s the pictures on the walls, the little details that add depth to the memory of it, but there’s something energetically special when I get to photograph a bride in the same house she grew up in. I loved that Annie and her friends chose to get ready at her parents’ home in Prairie Village, and she and David shared their first look in her parents’ backyard.
